An Insight on Indeed from the Employer POV - Reddit
An Insight on Indeed from the Employer POV I'm VP of Operations at an Outpatient Surgery Center with a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration. I handle all day-to-day operations including all human resource functions (hiring, firing, credentialing, etc.). I see a lot of questions on this sub about how Indeed works so here’s some insight.

When Indeed automatically denies my application, does the ... - Reddit
When Indeed automatically denies my application, does the employer still see it? Let me clarify. Sometimes when I apply to a job, I go into the "My jobs" section to see that Indeed labeled my application "Not selected by employer" 2.5 seconds after submitting the application. It's not the employer, it's indeed.
Hack for finding the date of Indeed Job postings (even 30+ old) - Reddit
So I've been looking for a way to find the date job listings on Indeed.com were posted. These are purposely hidden for jobs 30+ days old to make jobs seem more recent/active than they are. I found a helpful comment by u/rambobaby5000 about using the "View Source Page" function to find how many days ago a job was posted. Basically, right clicking the job posting, clicking "View Source," then ...
Is Indeed dead? : r/jobs - Reddit
Indeed can't rely on new jobs to bring users to their platform since they'd be dead overnight with so few new jobs on it. I'm not sure if they were doing it last year or not since the response rate was wild.
Been getting a lot of ‘indeed’ calls recently : r/Scams - Reddit
Messed them about for a bit (convinced them I was 6 years old, asked their favourite multiple of 7, then told them that’s not a multiple of 7) but now I’ve gotten another 2 today - both from different numbers with a similar voice and script. Was indeed leaked? Or did some people that I applied to jobs for sell my info? Thanks!
“Not selected by employer” indeed : r/jobs - Reddit
A lot of times, employers are not aware that by closing out their listing on the Indeed platform without taking any further actions through the platform that every applicant gets the "Not selected by employer" message. Note that in addition to being able to see resumes/cover letter/applicant info through the Indeed platform that the same info is emailed to the employer as well. So if the ...

Text message from indeed - is it legit? : r/WorkOnline - Reddit
Hi everyone, just a general question here. Is it safe to respond to a direct text message from an employer? This text message I received is odd and they didn’t even address me by name. I’m not sure if I should respond, could this be spam? It does say they recently viewed my application on indeed but I’ve just never had an employer reach out like this. Hello! We received your application ...
The ugly truth of Indeed. An HR viewpoint : r/recruitinghell
Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors. Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format. An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones. Applying to these cloned jobs does absolutely nothing. Nobody receives your ...
